News: Dagupan councilor is 4L Philippines president

DAGUPAN City Councilor Farah Marie Decano won the national presidency of the Lady Local Legislators’ League of the Philippines (4L Philippines) last January 25 in the national election held at the Pearl Hotel in Manila.

Decano bagged the presidency by garnering 273 votes against the 106 votes of her opponent, Baguio Councilor Betty Lourdes Tabanda.

It is very clear that his comments were obviously given before the circular was issued,” thus said Supreme Court (SC) Chief Justice Reynato Puno in reaction to the statement of Presidential Legal Counsel Sergio Apostol that the judges may be impeached if they implement the recent SC circular concerning libel.
