CAMP FLORENDO, La Union — The Philippine National Police (PNP) 21-day transformation torch run relay has reached Ilocos region for its third leg.
The torch, which symbolizes reform in the PNP, was turned over on Thursday by Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 Director Errol Pan to PRO1 Director Leopoldo Bataoil.

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union — A total of 1,098 policemen of Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) coming from four police provincial offices are due for promotion to the next rank.
Police Regional Director Leopoldo Bataoil said he pursued the recommendation for approval in recognition for the outstanding performance of his men in the regional police command in “Enforcing Laws, Winning Wars and Touching People’s Lives.”
